Yes we certainly do accept Crypto / Digital Currency.

We accept:

Bitcoin (BTC)
Ethereum (ETH)
USD Coin (USDC)

However, digital currency isn’t actually currency according to the IRS, it’s property, or in-kind-gift and is basically the same as if you donated new or used clothing.

We like the fact digital currency can grow in value when managed properly, helping to grow the Charity funding abilities.

We have a special page and form to accept crypto, so the funds are accounted for and used according to the wishes of the donor.

A receipt is sent once received and verified. Just like with any property we cannot state the value of the crypto. We can only list the date received, what is was, the quality of the gift and naturally a “Thank You”.

** It’s up to you as the donor to substantiate the valuation on your tax return should you choose to claim a tax deduction on the gift.

Yes we certainly do accept Gold, Silver and any denomination of Goldbacks. We are a Texas 501(c)3 nonprofit and Texas law says Gold, Silver and Goldbacks are legal tender. 

We require the Gold, Silver or Goldbacks to be mailed in to us.

We also require them to be sent via tracked mail.

A receipt is sent once the Gold, Silver or Goldbacks have been received and verified to be authentic. The receipt will list the Date, type and spot value on the day it is received. And naturally a Thank You.

We do accept cash, coins, gold, or silver when dropped into our secure donation box at a designated physical location. Just keep in mind that these in-person gifts are anonymous, so we’re not able to provide a receipt for them.

If you’re thinking of mailing a cash donation, for security reasons, re request the donation in the form of money orders or cashier’s checks. These are secure, provide a receipt for your records, and help us stay tidy with the bookkeeping. If you’d like to donate that way use the address below.

Oasis Voices of Humanity Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering disadvantaged individuals through podcast training, storytelling courses, and job preparation, helping them develop skills for sustainable careers in media and beyond.

We primarily assist veterans, formerly homeless individuals, and those in underserved communities who are seeking to build a new future through storytelling and podcasting.

Our 90-day training program provides hands-on education in podcast production, storytelling, editing, and workforce readiness. Graduates leave with skills they can use to start their own podcasts or secure jobs in the industry.

You can donate directly through our website, where options range from $25 (meals for a participant) to $2,000 (full training sponsorship) or even $5,000 to fund a community storytelling initiative.  Wise To donate more one or anonymously we have options for those also on donation form.

We welcome volunteers in mentorship, guest lecturing, technical support, and community outreach. Contact us to see how you can contribute!
